Overview
This wiki explains the different types of display options for 2D Views drawing in Detail Style.
Steps to be follow
Please follow the below steps to achieve this.
1. Right click on the View from Views tab of Detail Center and select Edit Style to open Detail Style.
2. Go to 2D Display > Views > Object Display and select any display group e.g. Shape.
3. Here, we have following options to use as display of the 2D view drawing for the selected Display Group (e.g. Shape).
- No display – The part is not represented.
- System line – Parts are only represented as center lines (if possible).
- Single Line – Parts are only represented as single lines (if possible), whereby this can also be another reference line alongside the middle line.
- Single Line with Widget – The profiles are only indicated as single line with widget representations. These lines with widgets do not have to be visible from the beginning until the end of the part but can also be displayed as a center line.
- Outline – Profiles are represented with the calculation of a simplified outer contour without details.
- Standard – The part is represented with the calculation of all available object edges.
- As Object – The part is represented as a single, independent object (’intelligent’ 2D component). 2D mode / 3D mode / 2D symbol these are the options available for As Object.
NOTE: We can use different or same display options for different Display Groups. In the above image, there only two Display Groups are present, one can even add more required display groups for different kind of object types.
