Problem
STAAD. Pro 2023 hangs when you try to use Configure option to select database
Solution
This is a permission issue. Right-click on STAAD.Pro short-cut icon, select the option 'run as administrator', this should resolve the issue. Please note that to run STAAD.Pro correctly, you will need full permission in the following folders.
For STAAD.pro 2023 Edition -
- C:\Program Files\Bentley\Engineering\STAAD.Pro 2023
- C:\ProgramData\Bentley\Engineering\STAAD.Pro 2003
- C:\Users\ username \AppData\Local\Bentley\Engineering\STAAD.Pro 2003
STAAD.pro CONNECT Edition –
- C:\Program Files\Bentley\Engineering\STAAD.Pro CONNECT Edition
