Problem Description

While following the wiki article how-to-combine-the-bom-in-isometric-with-certain-sequence for combining & setting the sequence in BOM report, it has been observed that, when settings is done in Rep-sortgroups.txt file, the supports field does not respect the definitions in the file.

Definition in file

Note that, supports is placed at last. i.e number 6. But, actual results in BOM is as shown

Notice that, though in definition the support is at number 6, in actual BOM its at 3rd place.

In this wiki article, we will see how to set the supports at the end of the BOM.

Steps to Resolve

  1. Launch OpenPlant Modeler.

  2. Generate the isometric with any desired style. Please follow the attached wiki article for how to generate iso

  3. From IsoProcessor dialogue > click on Style configuration > select the desired style >  click on Spool settings > add the rule "IE_TYPE=CT_SUPPORT" & Save the settings as shown

  4. Regenerate the Isometric & verify the results as shown

Notice that, the sequence for support is set correctly.
